Hi,
So I read that android 4.0 and up the internet app should be accessible with talkback. However, I found that I have no access to the "content" area, but a sighted person does see the information visually. Is there some magical gesture I'm missing here? I checked my phone and it says I'm sunning 5.01

Install Firefox, I've found it to work better then chrome.

Also, the android system web view does get updated, maybe try getting in to the beta program for that. Chrome runs very nicely here for me, not the internet app which is something different.

as some say install the web scripts keep up with the updates with talkback. Oh, as forefire fox some of you users are in fore a new ride. Firefox is ditching the three finger side swipe fore a 3 finger pinch up and down to change headings. Also, what IOS users know as headings, links forms and list. is known as control view, "links, forms", sections "headings" rest is straight forward. It find Chrom browser a bit better in lollipop rather then firefox at this time.

does talkback not update automatically when my device runs updates?

It depends on if talkback has an update available or not.

talkback is now in its beta cycle so when the beta cycle is done you will get an update.
